The Sanguine Update


After some playtesting, knowledge was acquired, and things have changed.

The initial concept of attack Altitude was changed to Dodge Method. Attacks should now be designed by focusing on how players will dodge them. Altitude was not a clear concept; it was ambiguous, and the difference between high and mid attacks was not clear enough.

Although confusion can still occur regarding the attacks' Dodge Method, we now acknowledge this by suggesting that some attacks can be dodged in multiple ways.

A team HP pool mechanic was introduced (bleed-outs). This was implemented so that no player stops playing while the rest enjoy the fight. Fights may become easier because of this.

Classes were rebalanced. The wizard is no longer so overpowered, but it retains its identity. The barbarian was reworked to reflect the risk-reward spirit of the class. The knight is now the only one who can nullify the boss's attack.

Wording and graphic improvements were made throughout the text and diagrams.
